First articulated by founder Sharon Chang, the framework and practice of “future architecture” is the result of many collaborative efforts to make the world more beautiful for all interconnected beings on this planet.
We are shape-shifting co-creators: philosophers, activists, makers, builders, and persistent learners. We listen, dream, design, and innovate. We share stories and connect people with purpose. We curate, coordinate, coach, and craft. We educate, strategize, perform, and organize. We are silo translators, justice seekers, spiritual healers, and health protectors. We work together to refine the art of collaboration.
Responding to a world in need of foundational systems redesign, we recognize the critical importance to galvanize collective imagination. As an emerging discipline, future architecture is defined in the context of a community of future architects actively prototyping and learning together. The Guild of Future Architects' 100-year vision is to be realized by nurturing a layered understanding of what it means to be a future architect. Together, we are pursuing this journey of awareness, reflection, co-creation, and transformation.
